Inter Milan put on a second-half show to overturn Fiorentina 3-1 away in Italian Serie A on Tuesday, with Matteo Darmian, Edin Dzeko and Ivan Perisic on target.

Inter entered into Tuesday's game with a four-game unbeaten run, while Fiorentina was coming off three consecutive victories.

The home side had a more aggressive start and took the lead in the 22nd minute when Riccardo Sottil fired home at the back post on Nico Gonzalez's assist.

The Nerazzurri could have grabbed the equalizer in the 37th minute when Matija Nastasic accidentally slid the ball into his own net, but it was canceled out as Perisic was ruled offside during the play.

Inter eventually leveled the score straight after the break, when Darmian gathered from Nicolo Barella to drill in.

The Beneamata quickly turned around the game in the 54th minute as Dzeko jumped to meet Hakan Calhanoglu's corner for a header.

The Viola was reduced to 10 men in the 78th minute as Gonzalez saw red for expressing dissent before Inter sealed the win with Perisic's tap-in.

Inter provisionally ranks top with 13 point, one ahead of Napoli who is to play Sampdoria on Thursday.

Also on Tuesday, Atalanta beat Sassuolo 2-1, Bologna shared the spoils with Genoa at 2-2.
