Beijing 2022 updates

A series of all-factor tests were carried out at the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Village this past weekend, with 2,415 participants involved in testing check-in, accommodation, catering, and COVID-19 (PCR) tests.

In the south of the National Olympic Sports Center, the Village consists of 20 buildings, accommodating 2,338 participants at the Olympics and 1,040 participants for the Paralympics.

The Village will start trial operations for the Olympics on January 23 and officially open on January 27. In the preceding two months, staff will resolve any issues that emerge, contributing to holding a simple, safe, and splendid Winter Olympic Games, according to organizers.

2021 World Table Tennis Championships

The 2021 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals will occur from November 23 to 29 in Houston, which marks the first time the sport's prestigious event has been staged in the Americas.

World No. 1 Fan Zhendong will lead China's men's singles squad for the Championships.

In the women's draw, Tokyo Olympic champion Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha, and Wang Manyu will spearhead the Chinese challenge in the championships alongside three paddlers who have no experience at the Olympic level, with Olympic champion Liu Shiwen skipping the Championships.

Chelsea vs. Juventus-UEFA Champions League

Group H's top two will clash in London this Tuesday, as Chelsea and unbeaten leaders Juventus battle it out for supremacy in their Champions League section.

While the Old Lady triumphed in Turin when the clubs last met - before going on to seal progress to the last 16 with four wins from four - the reigning champions are just a point away from confirming their place in the knockout stages.
