Yuyang Int'l Ice and Snow Festival opens in Beijing's Pinggu district

Yuyang Ski Resort kicked off its 15th Yuyang International Ice and Snow Festival in east of Donggaocun town, northeast Beijing’s Pinggu district. Varied terrains and slopes are available in the resort for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers. With an area of 300,000 square meters, the resort provides service of snow sports, catering, dinning, conference and leisure. It has held many domestic and international skiing contests. With the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games around the corner, Pinggu is revving up its efforts to encourage more people to engage in winter sports through various activities including offering ice and snow sports courses in local primary and middle schools.
