Defending champions Tianjin claimed their 14th Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League title after defeating Jiangsu 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-20) on Wednesday.
With Wednesday's victory, Tianjin won the best-of-three finals 2-0. Tianjin demonstrated more powerful spikes and blocks, with Melissa Vargas notching a game-high 19 points and Li Yingying adding 18.
Jiangsu newcomer Wu Mengjie scored a team-high nine points, while 2016 Olympic champion Gong Xiangyu added eight.
"I felt relieved after the game was over, and I finally unloaded the burden. Our team got better and better during the tournament, each of us gained a lot of experience from the matches," said Wang Yuanyuan, Tianjin's spiker and the Chinese international.
Shanghai secured third place on Tuesday by beating Liaoning 2-0 in the best-of-three bronze medal match.
