Like the recently concluded Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the ongoing Beijing Paralympics will continue to use robots to provide services in different scenarios, including the delivery of goods and food items as well as providing guidance and patrol services.

At the media center's "smart restaurant," a robot coffee maker provides 24/7 services for athletes and staff. According to a staff member, the coffee maker robot has a six-axis robotic arm and is capable of intricate movements, and can make 500 cups per day.

Elsewhere, patrol robots use a technology that allows them to operate in different environments and achieve smooth movement.

In addition, to mitigate COVID-19 risks, there are also robots used for cleaning and disinfection, and delivering parcels as well.
