Shandong Taishan claimed a 3-1 win over Dalian Pro, while Zhejiang beat Guangzhou City 2-0 in the 10th round of the 2022 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

Shandong broke the deadlock against Dalian when Liao Lisheng netted home with a long-range shot at the 40th minute, which is the first goal with the defending champions since he joined this season.

In the 51st minute, Marouane Fellaini's tap-in helped Shandong extend the lead to 2-0, before Brazilian forward Cryzan had his fourth goal in four matches in the 82nd minute.

Although Dalian Pro pulled one back with Zhu Ting's injury-time strike, Shandong held on to claim its fourth consecutive victory to sit second after 10 matches in the first phase of the 2022 CSL.

"This goal helped me build up my confidence, and it is more important to help my team to break the deadlock, which made the game easier for us," said Liao.

The other game on Sunday saw Zhejiang defeat Guangzhou City 2-0, with both goals scored during a six-minute span in the first half. Ablikim Abdusalam and Zhang Qi both scored their first goals in the CSL.
