The National Aquatics Center, a dual-Olympic venue in Beijing, has reopened to the public in a phased manner. Its Water Park and licensed Winter Olympics merchandise store are among the first facilities to receive guests as of July 9.

Covering an area of 12,000 square meters, the venue's Water Park is one of China's largest and most advanced indoor water amusement parks. It has recently been renovated for public use, with its 10 recreational facilities completed maintenance and sanitation.

A collection of bestselling and limited-edition Beijing 2022 souvenirs, such as plush toy mascots, clothing, and stationery, are also available at the on-site franchise store.

In addition, the venue's warm-up pool, located in its Henry Fok Ying Tung Hall, has kicked off trial operations of its swimming training programs as of July 21, while its swimming facilities are set to open to the public on July 25.

The pool has been upgraded with a smart system that provides all visitors with digital cards for membership and training services. Using only their phone, visitors can check their membership status via the official WeChat account of the venue's swimming club (ID: myswimmingclub).

Stringent COVID-19 prevention measures will be observed after the venue reopens. For example, visitors are required to make appointments online, present negative nucleic acid test results received 72 hours prior to visitation, and undergo body temperature and health code checks before entering the venue. In accordance with the requirements of local authorities, the venue will also limit the number of entries.
