China's two-time Olympic silver medalist Wei Ning added another silver medal to her collection after the women's skeet competition at the 10th Asian Shotgun Championships on Friday.

Wei, on her 40-year-old birthday, tied Kazakhstan's Zoya Kravchenko at 32 hits in the final duel of medal match, but fell short after three rounds of shoot-off. Isarapa Imprasertsuk of Thailand finished third.

This is the third Asian Championships medal for Wei, who finished second in the 2012 edition and third in 2004.

In the men's competition, China's Yu Ziqing and Dun Yueheng qualified for the ranking match but did not manage to take one step further into the medal match.

The 10th Asian Shotgun Championships will run until August 8, with men's and women's skeet team event to be contested on Saturday.
