Several transfers of prominent strikers keep the German Bundesliga busy.

While Borussia Dortmund confirmed to have found Cologne striker Anthony Modeste to replace sickened Sebastien Haller, the cases of Chelsea striker Timo Werner and Frankfurt's Filip Kostic approach a done-deal status.

Kostic' club Eintracht Frankfurt and the Italian side of Juventus are said on the final meters to announce things are done regarding the Serb internationals' future.

According to Italian media reports, only a gap of four million euros needs to be bridged to make the lights turn green. This Tuesday a final statement from both clubs is expected.

When 2022 Euro League winner Eintracht is crossing swords with 2022 Champions League winner Real, the 29-year-old striker is expected to be on his way to his new club.

The return of German international Timo Werner might take a few days longer but is said to most likely be fixed by the end of the week.

After the Blues signed the 26-year-old in 2020 for 53 million euros, the forward failed to achieve his breakthrough at the London side.

Turning into a backbencher at Chelsea has caused growing concerns for Werner that he might lose ground in the German national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar played as a mid-season tournament in November and December.

The demand of German national coach Hansi Flick to only appoint players with a suitable number of playing minutes might have increased Werner's efforts to leave the Premier League.

A well-informed German tabloid reports about a four-to-five-year contract in Leipzig coming along with a fee of 20 million plus bonus payments for Chelsea.

While Kostic is taking Juve as a challenge to make it as one of Europe's top sides are the cases of Werner and Modeste causing unrest.

Cologne coach Steffen Baumgart expressed his disapproval as the breaking news of the 34-year-old striker's departure hit the club only hours ahead of their season opener against Schalke (3-1).

With the transfer window open in Germany until September first, reports speak of Dortmund paying five million euros to Cologne next to a six million salary and a one-year contract for their new arrival.

Emotions seem to accompany the Werner deal as well after the striker had left the Red Bulls in 2020 after 95 goals in 159 competitive games.

While Werner might increase Leipzig's quality fierce competition up front seems secured.

Next to Werner RB would employ six other prominent strikers such as Andre Silva, Christopher Nkunku, Alex Sorloth, Emil Forsberg, Yussuf Poulsen, and Dani Olmo.

Reports speak of Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has decided to push the deal through despite the oversupply of strikers.
