Dalian Pro have had their transfer embargo lifted, the Chinese Super League (CSL) side announced on Thursday.
Dalian Pro were banned by world football governing body FIFA from introducing any new players in May until their salary disputes are settled.
The Dalian club have reportedly been working towards having the embargo lifted after they were brought up to the CSL from the second tier at the eleventh hour to fill the gap left by disbanded Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic in late May.
"The transfer embargo imposed on our club has been lifted," Dalian Pro said in a statement on Thursday.
The Dalian side will not be able to feature any new signings in their next game against Cangzhou Mighty Lions later on Thursday as they need time to be registered with the CSL, the statement added.
Before the Cangzhou game, Dalian sit 15th in the CSL table with eight points, two points behind the 14th-ranked Cangzhou side.
