Four seeding pots of the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League group stage draw have been confirmed after the conclusion of the playoffs on Wednesday.
The draw will take place in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday, featuring 26 automatic qualifiers and six play-off round winners.
Pot 1 consists of the current holder, the UEFA Europa League winner, and champions of the six highest-ranked countries and regions who did not qualify via one of the 2021-22 titles. Pots 2 to 4 are determined by the club coefficient rankings.
Pot 1 consists of reigning champion Real Madrid, Europa League holder Eintracht Frankfurt, Manchester City, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto and Ajax.
Pot 2 teams are Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, RB Leipzig and Tottenham Hotspur.
Borussia Dortmund, Salzburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Napoli, Benfica, Sporting CP and Bayer Leverkusen are in Pot 3.
Pot 4 comprises Marseille, Brugge, Celtic, Maccabi Haifa, Viktoria Plzen, Rangers, Copenhagen and Dinamo Zagreb.
The UEFA Champions League group matches will kick off on September 6.
