Wuhan Three Towns extended their unbeaten run in the Chinese Super League (CSL) to 15 games following a resounding 5-1 win over Shenzhen on Sunday.

Marcao's goal in the fifth minute led Wuhan to take control, and the Brazilian striker then extended the lead to 2-0 with a header in the 35th minute, bringing his goal tally to a league-leading 16.

In a five-minute span starting in the 61st minute, Wuhan scored three times, with Brazil's Davidson contributing two assists and a goal.

Frank Acheampong's penalty in the 72nd minute gave Shenzhen a goal back, but Shenzhen defender Jiang Zhipeng was red-carded for shoving Wuhan's Deng Hanwen.

Elsewhere, Meizhou Hakka rallied past Dalian Pro to take a 4-2 home victory, despite Dalian scoring a lightning-fast goal in the opening minutes.
