Chinese sportswear producer Xtep held a product launch ceremony on Sept. 5 at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing, unveiling its new brand strategy, featuring a world-class Chinese running shoes line.

With various business events held after the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the National Aquatics Center, a dual-Olympic venue, has seen new progress in its commercial operations and sustainable use.

The event was held in the venue's 2,400-square-meter multifunctional hall. With a guest capacity of up to 1,000 people, the hall is ideal for performances, conferences, and exhibitions of various types and sizes due to its adaptable sound and lighting facilities and structure.

To create the best atmosphere for the event, exhibition booths and media rooms were also set up in the multifunctional hall on Monday evening.

Xtep staff explained that they chose to hold the ceremony at the National Aquatics Center because it is a world-class platform that fits their strategy of developing top-notch products, adding that they thought highly of the venue's efforts to ensure a smooth event with various COVID-19 countermeasures in place.

To strengthen epidemic prevention and control, the venue has acted in accordance with local authorities' requirements and set up separate channels to avoid crowds and close contact between staff and visitors.
