French women's top-flight club Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday announced the arrival of Chinese international midfielder Yang Lina on a season-long loan.

Yang became the second Chinese women's player to have been signed by PSG this season, after her national teammate Li Mengwen had joined earlier this month and already made her debut in the opening match of the women's Ligue 1 last weekend.

Yang, 28, started her career in 2015 in hometown side Shanghai, where she finished as the top scorer at the Chinese FA Cup in her first season.

With 24 caps for the national team, Yang helped the Steel Roses claim the Asian Cup title earlier this year.

PSG have ranked second behind Lyon in the French women's first division four times in the past five seasons, except in 2020-2021 season when they overthrew Lyon for their first league title.
