Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet dropped 30 points and dished out 11 assists in a 113-104 victory over Chicago Bulls in Sunday night's NBA game.
28-year-old VanVleet returned after a three-game absence due to lower back stiffness and nailed a game-high five 3-pointers in nearly 40 minutes of action.
"It felt a lot better," said VanVleet after the win. "Sitting out and having a chance to study some film and watch how the team was playing."
Rookie center Christian Koloko from Cameroon had 11 points, seven rebounds, six blocks in 31 minutes, all personal bests.
Forward Scottie Barnes also added 19 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win, Raptors improve to 6-4 on the season and 4-1 at home.
Tonight's game also marked the 100th time Toronto have faced Chicago. Since the teams first squared off on November 7, 1995, the Bulls have won 54 times.
The two teams will battle it out again tomorrow in Chicago.
