Shandong Taishan defeated Shanghai Shenhua 2-0 to claim their fourth straight victory and provisionally take up the top place in the Chinese Super League (CSL) table on Monday.

Shandong went ahead in the 67th minute as Brazilian center Moises was pushed to the ground before converting the ensuing penalty. Left back Song Long helped Shandong seal the victory six minutes later.

Tianjin Jinmen Tiger smashed Hebei FC 5-0, sweeping the latter side this season.

Gao Jiarun's header in the 12th minute put Tianjin ahead, and Ba Dun and Brazilian striker Farley Rosa scored in a span of four minutes to earn Tianjin a 3-0 halftime lead.

Slovenian forward Robert Beric had a brace in the second half to round off Tianjin's lop-sided victory.

Also on Monday, South Korean defender Kim Min-woo scored an 88th-minute equalizer to help Chengdu Rongcheng draw 2-2 with Changchun Yatai.
