China wins women's team gold at FIG Trampoline Gymnastics Worlds

China won the women's trampoline team title at the 36th FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships here on Friday evening.

Cao Yunzhu, Zhu Xueying and Hu Yicheng gained a total of 15 points, followed by Britain with 10 points, and Japan with nine points.

With one more competition day remaining, Britain leads the medal standings with three gold, two silver and two bronze medals, followed by Australia (two gold, one silver and one bronze medals), the United States (one gold, three silver and three bronze medals), and Portugal (one gold and one silver medals), while China, Spain and New Zealand each won one gold medal.

More than 300 athletes from 38 countries and regions participate in the four-day event, which kicked off in the Arena Sofia Hall on Wednesday.
