Dominique Jones sank a buzzer-beating jumper to help the Jilin Northeast Tigers edge the Shanghai Sharks 107-105 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Friday.

Jilin took their final possession with 3.9 seconds remaining after Liu Lijia's lay-up tied the game at 105-105 for Shanghai before Jones hit the pull-up jumper.

Jones finished with 32 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds. The 34-year-old passed the 10,000 point mark of his CBA career in the third quarter. Jilin's Jiang Zewei added 27 points, and Jiang Yuxing collected 17 points and eight rebounds.

Shanghai, who suffered a three-game losing streak, opened the game with an 27-11 run, but Jilin cut the deficit to 49-44 at halftime.

Eric Bledsoe had 26 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists for Shanghai. Liu Lijia and Wang Zhelin contributed 26 and 21 points respectively.

Defending champion Liaoning Flying Leopards rolled past the Ningbo Rockets 101-75 as Guo Ailun notched 18 points and nine assists.

Liaoning settled the game right from the start by building a 21-point lead in the first quarter. Ningbo only scored 52 after three quarters.

Liaoning's Jakarr Sampson finished with 21 points and nine rebounds. Brandon Taylor scored a game-high 26 points for Ningbo.

In other fixtures on Friday, the Beijing Ducks smashed the Shandong Heroes 119-83, the Shenzhen Aviators defeated the Fujian Sturgeons 112-94, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls cruised past the Qingdao Eagles 89-77, and the Shanxi Loongs tamed the Nanjing Monkey Kings 122-101.
