American Mikaela Shiffrin concluded the final race of the women's FIS World Cup season in style, winning 88 titles in total after she broke Sweden's Ingemar Stenmark's 86 all-time World Cup-winning record a week ago.

Shiffrin, 28, won another giant slalom race in Andorra on Sunday to wrap up her brilliant season with so many record-breaking performances.

She led from the first run and finished a nearly flawless second run to win the race in Soldeu, Andorra, by 0.06 seconds ahead of Norway's Thea Louise Stjernesund. Canada's Valerie Grenier was third.

She broke another world record for the most women's World Cup giant slalom wins, 21, and became the first woman skier to finish with 138 World Cup podiums in the International Ski Federation (FIS) history.

With 2,206 points on the standings, Shiffrin won her fifth overall World Cup title and also secured the crystal globes in slalom and giant slalom before this weekend's event.
