Lazio registered their first win in the new Serie A season as they beat defending champions Napoli 2-1 away on Saturday.

Lazio had a shaky start as they suffered back-to-back defeats in the new season while Napoli managed two wins in as many games.

The away side broke the deadlock in the 30th minute with a spectacular fashion as Felipe Anderson burst into the box and pulled back for Luis Alberto to finish with a smart back-heeled strike.

The Partenopei quickly got back on level terms two minutes later when a poor clearance went for Piotr Zielinski who scored the equalizer with a deflected shot.

Lazio restored the lead seven minutes into the second-half, when Felipe Anderson won back the possession and rolled across, Alberto's dummy allowed Daichi Kamada to gather the ball, as the new arrival took a few touches before sending the ball into the far corner.

Biancocelesti's another new face Matteo Guendouzi came off the bench later to make his debut. He had scored one and set up another, but both goals were disallowed due to offside.

Also on Saturday, Atalanta bounced back from their setback to Frosinone as new signing Gianluca Scamacca's brace helped them beat Monza 3-0.

Elsewhere, Bologna rallied to beat Cagliari 2-1, Udinese shared the spoils with Frosinone at 0-0.
