Miami Heat duo Orlando Robinson and Duncan Robinson scored 19 of their team's 25 points in the fourth quarter in a 112-103 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Wednesday evening's NBA match.

The game raced out to a quick start with Heat swingman Caleb Martin scoring 16 of his team-high 24 points in the first quarter.

By halftime, Miami and Toronto combined for 130 points on 53.3 percent shooting. By contrast, in the second half, the teams managed only 85 points on 35.3 percent shooting.

"It was a shootout in the first half," said Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra afterwards. "We mentioned at halftime that whichever team would get a hold of the defensive side of the floor would win the game."

Orlando, a 23-year-old undrafted big man playing in his second NBA season, notched his first career double-double with 15 points and a career-best 12 rebounds.

"Orlando makes you absolutely respect his grit. You saw that tonight, the defensive work was really good," added Spoelstra. Orlando was starting in place of All-Star Bam Adebayo, who was sidelined with a hip injury.

Duncan Robinson - no relation to Orlando - a 29-year-old veteran guard known for his outside shooting, scored 14 of his 21 points in the second, including two three-pointers.

"It's not a surprise anymore. He's so skilled offensively and he fits within the unit," Spoelstra enthused. "He knows how to complement either unit. He also knows how to be a focal point."

With the win, Miami improves to 12-9 on the season and 7-6 on the road.
