Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam hit a season-best five 3-pointers, finishing with 33 points in a 135-128 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, thereby ending their four-game losing streak.

Siakam reached the 30-point mark for the 60th time in his career. The 29-year-old Cameroonian had a standout first half, scoring 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.

His first-half performance was complemented by the Hawks' All-Star guard Trae Young, who accumulated 20 points and 10 assists after two quarters. The Hawks led 66-64 at halftime, with both teams shooting a combined 54 percent from the field.

Toronto enhanced its defense in the second half, holding Atlanta to 22-for-51 (43.1 percent) from the field.

"There was some miscommunication early in the game that got Trae Young going with his 3s," said Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic following the win. "A couple of pick and rolls we didn't do a good job, and I thought the second half we did much better."

Rajakovic's team continued their strong offensive performance, shooting an efficient 24-for-40 (60.0 percent) in the second half.

Forward Scottie Barnes added an all-around effort with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists for his 11th double-double of the season.

Toronto concluded the game shooting a season-best 57.5 percent from the field, surpassing their performance against the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 1 when they shot 56.0 percent.
