Juve just came off a 6-1 comeback win over Salernitana in the Coppa Italia on Thursday, but found themselves on the back foot again in the 39th minute when Giulio Maggiore broke the deadlock with a left-footed curler.

However, Maggiore went from hero to zero in the 53rd minute as the 25-year-old saw red for another bookable defense.

The Bianconeri got back on level terms in the 65th minute when Timothy Weah pulled back for Vlahovic's fresh-air shot, but it made its way through for Samuel Iling Junior to blast into the net.

Juve grabbed the winner in the dying minutes when Danilo's floated pass found Vlahovic for a twisting header.

With the win, Juve still rank second on 46 points, keeping the pressure on leaders Inter Milan.

Elsewhere, AC Milan registered their third consecutive win on all fronts as they sailed away with a 3-0 victory over Empoli.

The Rossoneri put their nose ahead in the 11th minute when Rafael Leao collected the ball on the left side and out-paced the defender before assisting for Ruben Loftus-Cheek to hit in a first-time strike.

The home side made it 2-0 in the 31st minute as Olivier Giroud converted a penalty, before Christian Pulisic's sensational run drew the defenders, allowing Chaka Traore to grab his first Serie A goal.

Also on Sunday, Napoli's woes continued as they fell to Torino 3-0. Antonio Sanabria put the home side in charge in the first-half, Napoli's new arrival Pasquale Mazzocchi had an awful debut as he saw red just five minutes after coming off the bench, before Nikola Vlasic and Alessandro Buongiorno completed the scoresheet.

In other fixtures, Roma tied with Atalanta 1-1, Lazio beat Udinese 2-1 away.
