Shandong Taishan scored a last-minute goal to enter the Asian Champions League quarterfinals after beating Japan's Kawasaki Frontale 4-2 for a 6-5 aggregate victory on Tuesday.

Kawasaki won last week's first leg 3-2, putting Shandong into a desperate situation.

Cryzan changed the score in the eighth minute when a defensive mistake allowed Li Yuanyi to assist the Brazilian.

Shandong made it two in the 25th minute when Gao Zhunyi buried Valeri Qazaishvili's cross in a counterattack.

Five minutes later, Kawasaki pulled one back as Sota Miura scored from a tight angle, and they tied the game 2-2 in the 58th minute.

In the 73rd minute, Cryzan shot from a distance and leveled the series again. Jadson hooked the ball into the gate in the seventh minute of added time, sending the last Chinese team still in the competition through to the last eight.

The Chinese side will face either Thailand's Bangkok United or Japan's Yokohama F. Marinos in the next game.
