Internacional have appointed Roger Machado as their new manager, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Thursday.
The 49-year-old replaces Argentine Eduardo Coudet, who was sacked last week after a poor run of results.
In a brief statement, Internacional said Machado would be joined by assistant coaches Adailton Bolzan and Robert Ribas, performance analyst Guilherme Marques, and physical trainer Paulo Paixao.
Machado's signing came less than a day after he resigned as manager of Internacional's top-flight rivals Juventude.
Three-time Brazilian Serie A champions Internacional are currently 13th in Brazil's 20-team Serie A standings with just five wins from 13 games so far this season.
