Aston Villa completed its second signing of the January transfer window on Tuesday with the arrival of young Spanish defender Andres Garcia.
The 21-year-old, who can also play on the right of midfield, joins from Spanish second-tier outfit Levante for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of six million euros.
Garcia progressed through the youth ranks at Levante, playing 31 times for its B team and 47 times for the first team, scoring four goals.
Garcia is Villa's second signing of the winter transfer window after Dutch forward Donyell Malen, 25, who completed a move from Borussia Dortmund on January 14.
