Monterrey striker Antonio De Nigris has signed for China Super League side Shandong Luneng on a one-year loan.

De Nigris, 27, becomes Shandong's second foreign player for the 2006 season after last year's Asian Champions League quarter-finalists opted to keep defender Predrag Pazin and offload Romanian forward Ionel Danciulescu.

Shandong, who finished a disappointing third in the Super League last term, have an option to buy the Mexican forward at the end of the loan period.
