Two trips to Europe in June and July will serve as warm-ups for the Chinese men's basketball team as they prepare for the World Championships.

China will visit Italy in June to play two friendlies against the hosts who will be their opponents in the world championships group stage, as well as world championships hosts Japan.

In July, China will return to Europe to take part in the Four-Nation Invitations in France and Spain.

China is drawn in Group B of the World Championships, together with the United States, Italy, Slovenia, Porto Rico and Senegal.
