The national women's basketball team is heading to the Australian International Invitation to warm up for the upcoming world championships.

China will face former world number one, the USA, on April 7. In the week-long tournament, China will also play Chinese Taipei and the Australia hosts.

However, China's top players Ye Li and Sui Feifei will be missing from the squad as both players are still nursing previous injuries.
