Chinese young divers have snapped up five gold medals during ten events at a FINA Grand Prix in Rome.

China sent a predominantly young squad to the tournament, with the exception of Olympic champion Guo Jingjing.

Teenagers Yuan Peilin and Jiang Lishuang triumphed in the women's 10-meter platform synchronized while Ying Hong and Zhang Huan won in the men's.

Fifteen-year-old Yuan, the National Games winner in 2005, scooped up her second gold in the tournament, winning the women's 10-meter platform with a score of 393.85.

China's rising star Qin Kia also claimed two golds from the men's 3-meter springboard and synchronized events respectively.
