China Upset Australia in Women's Hockey

Ma Yibo and Fu Baorong scored two goals in the first half to lead China for a 2-1 win over Australia at the Women's Champions Trophy field hockey in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on Tuesday.

Emily Halliday pulled one back for the Commonwealth champions in the 16th minute.

With the win, China lead the standings with six points after three matches, while Australia, which are yet to win a match at the round-robin tournament, have two.

Later Tuesday, World Cup holders Argentina play Germany and winless New Zealand meet two-time defending champions Netherlands.

The Netherlands, who have four points from two matches, can reclaim the top spot with a win.
