Defending champion Shaanxi have suffered their second straight loss as they were beaten 3-2 by Zhejiang in the 11th round of the table tennis super league.

Zhejiang's imported German player Timo Boll led the team with two singles victories.

World number two Boll put his team 1-0 through a five-set victory over Hao Shuai.

The German ace, falling two sets down, came from behind to win 7-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-7 and 11-9.

The Shaanxi team soon equalized the score through a win from world champion Ma Lin.

The two sides each snatched one more point to tie at 2-all, while Boll tamed Ko Lai Chak 3-1 in the decisive fifth match to seal the victory for Zhejiang.

In other matches of the men's league, Wuxi and Shandong each posted a 3-2 win over their opponents, while Ningbo returned the relegation zone after losing to Sichuan 3-0.

In the women' side, Beijing beat Bayi 3-1 to stay well clear at the top of the league table. Liaoning snapped a three-round losing streak with a 3-2 win over the team of Peking University.
