Athletics: Five More Golds at Asian Junior Championships

China continued its domination at the Asian Junior Athletics Championships by winning five more gold medals in Macao.

Liang Jiahong provided a boost for the fortunes of Chinese sprinter on the men's side when he won the men's 100m dash in 10.32 seconds.

In the men's High Jump, China's Huang Haiqiang emerged victorious in the end with his clearance of 2.20 meters.

On the women's side, Zhang Yingning set a new tournament record in the Pole Vault as she won the event with a height 4.30 meters.

Tan Jian won the Discus Throw for China with a distance of 55.74 meters, while Tong Xiaomei was crowned the 800m title, clocking 2:08.10.

Chinese also snapped five silver medals and two bronzes in the third day of competition.

The Chinese team tops the medal tally with a total of 15 golds, nine sivlers and four bronzes, followed by Japan and Saudi Arabia.
