The Doha Asian Games snooker event has changed to avoid clashing with the snooker UK Championship, China Youth Daily reports.

The Doha Games snooker events will end on December 7 instead of December 11, allowing China's prodigy Ding Junhui to defend the UK championship from December 9.

The 15th Asian Games Cue sports will include billiards, carom, pool and snooker.
