Henan Jianye have secured a first ever promotion to the top flight with a 1-0 victory at Jiangsu Shuntian in Round 24 of the China's Super League.

Midfielder Wang Yujing hit the winning goal in the second minute of stoppage time in Nanjing to seal promotion and end a 12-year wait.

It was an emotional day for Henan player Wu Hao. He was discarded by Jiangsu before signing for his current club.

The other promotion spot will be contended between Guangzhou Pharmaceutical and Zhejiang Lvcheng. Both teams will play against Henan in the final two rounds.
