Chris Porter sent the game into overtime and scored eight points in the last five minutes to lead Fujian SBS to an 83-76 victory over Bayi Rockets in Wednesday's match of the Chinese Basketball Association league.

Porter, who had 28 points and 11 rebounds, made the lay-up to level the game in the dying seconds before he scored the first eight points for the home team to stamp the lead.

Star center Wang Zhizhi had just 15 points for the Rockets, which lost three in five games so far of the 2006-07 season.

Power forward Mo Ke led the Rockets with 22 points and nine rebounds, but let loose a seven-point lead from the end of the third quarter when Fujian held its opponents to just 11 points in the decisive fourth one.

Center Yi Jianlian scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Guangdong Hongyuan's fifth consecutive win by defeating Shanghai Sharks, 117-82.

The defending champion had all its five starters scoring double figures and built up a commanding lead after three quarters, as it did in previous three games.

A bunch of new faces credited Shandong Flaming Bulls a 107-68 trounce of Beijing Ducks in Beijing when the result was beyond doubt just after the break.

American Herve Lamizana had the game-high 28 points and 18 rebounds, while compatriot Mack Tuck adding 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five steals for an all-round game for the Flaming Bulls.

In Wednesday's other games, Yunnan Honghe nailed down its first victory of the season by beating Zhejiang Guangsha 93:84; Liaoning Hunters slashed down Xinjiang Guanghui 113-88; Jilin Northeast Tigers held on for a 95-91 win over Shannxi Hans; Jiangsu Dragons disposed off Shanxi Zhongyu 112-89.
