Situated in a quiet hutong near the Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square, this former palace has little changed since it was built in the 17th century for a son of the Emperor Kangxi. Now, extensive renovation and carefully selected Chinese antiques have restored the building back to its royal glory. The club covers an area of 10,000 square meters and contains four main courtyards, inter-connected pavilions, private dining rooms and secret bars. A litany of events is held at the club, including theme dinners, wine tasting parities, cocktail receptions and family gatherings.
