The Black Dragon Pool Waterfall, situated on a 100-meter-high cliff of Mount Tai, is one of the top attractions in the Mount Tai area. Legend has it that the undersea dragon palace in East China Sea is connected with the pool, where dragons from the Sea can swim freely.

The pool's limpid water and mirror-smooth stones make an exhilarating treat for the eyes, while the ears are soothed by the sounds of the flowing water.

·Best time to go: April-November

·Cost:

125 yuan/person (Mar. - Oct.) for entry ticket plus 2 yuan for insurance;

100 yuan/person (Nov. - Feb.) for entry ticket plus 2 yuan for insurance;

80 yuan/person for single-way cable trip between Zhongtian Gate and Nantian Gate, 140 yuan/person for round trip;

80 yuan/person for single-way cable trip between Peach Blossom Valley and Nantian Gate, 140 yuan/person for round trip;

20 yuan/person for single-way cable trip between Houshi Wu and Nantian Gate, 40 yuan/person for round trip.
