Born in Hefei, Anhui Province, Jiang Nan (real name Yang Zhi) is an established Chinese writer of alternate history fiction, as well as science and fantasy fiction. He is celebrated for his "Clans Wars" series and "Dragan Raja" series. "Dragon Raja" once set a record, selling 300,000 copies in 30 days. After graduating from Peking University, Yang continued his studies at Washington University, U.S. and received his master's degree in analytical chemistry. He is now a writer and media manager engaged in the design and publishing of three magazines. He started writing in 1998, and made his name in 2002 with his online novel "When We Were Young". His works are celebrated for their intricate plots, vivid characters and inspiring themes.
