The picture tells the tale of a love story between a swordsman and a beautiful girl. After meeting the girl with the help of a monk, the pair falls in love. However, the girl is under diabolic control and the swordsman must rescue her if they are to have a future together. The film introduced Pauline Chan to audiences and she came across as elegant, gorgeous and innocent in the film. The sex scenes were also pleasing and sensitively portrayed. Although Chan subsequently starred in many more Category III movies, many fans regard this as her finest.
