Trip Advisor, a famous travel website, recently listed the 25 most visited museums in the United States in 2013.

Each museum listed is the very best of its kind and is renowned for displaying famous cultural relics from around the world and the U.S. Some of the museums are also unique historical monuments which commemorate great events and people from history, offering visitors a unique insight into the past.

Here are the top 25 museums in the United States as ranked by Trip Advisor.

   The Henry Ford, Michigan

The Henry Ford, formally known as the Edison Institute, is a large indoor and outdoor history museum complex in Dearborn, Michigan. It boasts a vast array of famous homes, machinery, exhibits and Americana. The museum, which started as Henry Ford's personal collection of historic objects, includes antique machinery, automobiles, locomotives and aircraft and also boasts a large IMAX theater where natural and historical documentaries are regularly screened.
