For 25 years now, The Independent Critics, a U.S. movie website, has published its annual list of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces. After years of waiting, it has now introduced its first male edition to their collection of "attractive lists" -- the "100 Most Handsome Faces of 2013."

Built on the modern aesthetic ideals, the list aims to be a very international and independent one that takes into account many cultures, lifestyles, professions and degrees of fame of any given individual. It consists of celebrities from 25 countries.

Irish-German actor Michael Fassbender topped the list, followed by Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård and Canadian actor Ryan Gosling.

Looking at the Asian circle, the top 10 were dominated by South Korean celebrities. Choi Siwon, a member of K-pop boy band Super Junior, got the highest ranking: lucky No. 7. He was one place ahead of famous American actor and film producer Brad Pitt.

Ok Taec-Yeon, also known as Taecyeon, the main rapper of South Korean boy band 2PM, ranked as the second most handsome man in all of Asia, followed by Dong Young-bae, or Taeyang, a South Korean singer, dancer and model.

Unfortunately, a few of the list’s good-looking fellows with Asian faces actually hold passports from other countries and so are not listed here. These famous faces include popular Chinese-American singer Wang Leehom and South Korean-American model and actor Dennis Oh.

The following are the top 10 most handsome faces in Asia in 2013 to share with you.
