Im Jin-ah, a South Korean singer best known by her stage name Nana, topped the Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2014 released by TC Candler, a U.S. film rating site.
The list, the 25th of its kind, covers beautiful faces from 38 countries. The United States dominated the list, with a total of 23 female celebrities included. It’s followed by the United Kingdom with 16 and South Korea with 13.
In terms of Asia, India and Japan each had four celebrities on the list.
Three famous faces are from China--actress and singer Zhu Zhu (20th), actress Liu Yifei (61th) and actress Fan Bingbing (66th).
The list aims to be very international and measures a mix of “many cultures, lifestyles, professions and degrees of fame,” rather than “a popularity contest,” according to the website.
The following are the top ten most beautiful faces in Asia in 2014.
