Top 10 landmarks in China 2018

China's Mutianyu section of the Great Wall made its way onto TripAdvisor's list of the top 25 landmarks in the world for 2018, according to the results of the latest Travelers' Choice Awards recently released by the professional trip service provider.

Mutianyu, ranked 18th, is the only landmark from China on the list.

Mutianyu, Tian Tan Buddha, and the Summer Palace are the top three landmarks in China.

China's top ten landmarks include four different sections of the Great Wall, indicating that the iconic attraction is a favorite with international tourists.

The list is based on marks and reviews from millions of travelers in TripAdvisor's online community over a 12-month period.

Cambodia's Angkor Wat topped the overall ranking for the second consecutive year.

The ancient city wall of Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi province, is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved city walls in China, as well as one of the largest ancient military defense systems in the world. The existing wall, with a total length of 13.7 kilometers, was built between 1370 and 1378 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
