- Leal Senado Building

Before this Portuguese building was built, there was a Chinese pavilion on this site where officials of the Qing Dynasty and Portugal negotiated trade agreements. The land was purchased by the Portuguese in 1784 to build Leal Senado (Loyal Senate) and then it became the Portuguese political center in Macao.
