"B for Busy" film is a pleasant surprise and the best yet very unique romance film of the year. Written and directed by 30-year-old Shao Yihui, it stars director-actor Xu Zheng, Wu Yue, Ma Yili, and Ni Hongjie. With an exciting plot, the story explores love, relationships, and friendships among middle-aged women and men from the perspective of women, which sometimes feels as if it is a Woody Allen film. What makes the film more remarkable is that almost all the dialogue is in the Shanghai dialect, which adds to the film's realism and showcases the charms of the metropolis and the residents. Indeed, it has become a cultural phenomenon in Shanghai. Moreover, 30% of its box office total came from Shanghai, which is quite extraordinary.
