Jet Li is an internationally-famed Chinese martial artist, actor, film producer and philanthropist. Li, who won various Wushu championship titles more than 50 times, started his acting career in 1980 when he played in the martial arts film "Shaolin Temple". The film, released in 1982, was a worldwide smash and boosted international interest in martial arts.

 

Li's authentic martial arts prowess enabled him to star in dozens of critically acclaimed martial arts epic films, most notably the "Once Upon A Time in China"series, in which he portrayed folk hero Wong Fei-hung.

Li's Hollywood film "Romeo Must Die"was a box office hit in 2000. He has also starred in many Hollywood action films, including "Kiss of the Dragon"(2001), "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor "(2008) and "The Expendables"(2010). The action hero, who has received high acclaim for his hard-boiled image, has been generally recognized as one of the sexiest Hollywood showbiz men.
