The village is built on the side of the mountain. The main street is made of stone steps going all the way up from the bottom of the village. Walking on this road, I felt I was traveling to an age when all things were simple but full of esthetic feeling.

With the light rain, I wandered around the mountain village, up and down the winding roads, finding the impressive spots in Hou's movie. The mountains in my view seemed lying in an ancient Chinese painting. After walking for hours I decided to have a rest.
