The famous tourist attraction Mingsha Mountain Dunes, which is six kilometers south of Dunhuang City, has moved towards Yueya Spring for about 8 to 10 meters in the past 15 years due to the geological movement, according to the latest statistics. Compared with the location in 1970s, the sand dunes movement of up to 60 meters made Yueya Spring under threat of dwindling. [Xinhua/Zhang Weixian]
