Huge investment to make Dunhuang a genuine oasis on Gobi Desert

Tourists are seen on the Singing Sands Mountain, a local tourism attraction in Dunhuang, northwest China's Gansu Province, Oct. 26, 2011. By 2020, China planned to invest over 4.7 billion Yuan (746 million U.S. dollars) in an attempt to curb further desertification and promote local environment so as to make Dunhuang a genuine oasis on the Gobi Desert.
